SERVICES AND SUPPORT
KM TORSO TEAM provides structured, non‑clinical performance assessment and applied guidance. The work focuses on understanding how the body responds to training, nutrition, and daily demands — and using that information to support real decisions for athletes, coaches, and individuals improving their physical capability.
This includes analysing energy use, conditioning profiles, nutritional requirements, and training structure. The support is grounded in exercise physiology and practical experience. It does not replace medical, therapeutic, or clinical care.
Energy Demands Calculation
A structured assessment of how an athlete uses energy across training and daily activity. This includes understanding intensity patterns, workload distribution, and the demands placed on different energy systems. The aim is to give athletes and coaches a clear picture of what the body requires to perform and recover effectively.
Nutritional Demands Calculation
An applied review of daily nutritional requirements based on training load, energy expenditure, and performance goals. This includes macronutrient needs, hydration patterns, fuelling strategies, and the relationship between nutrition and repeatability, recovery, and training quality.
The work is non‑clinical and grounded in exercise physiology, with a clear focus on supporting performance, training structure, and long‑term capability.
Body Weight Management
Support for understanding how body weight, composition, and training demands interact over time. This includes identifying whether an athlete should maintain, reduce, or increase body mass based on performance needs, energy availability, and training phase. The work is non‑prescriptive and does not include clinical weight‑loss interventions.
Training Design for Performance
An applied, personalised overview of how training can be organised across phases, intensities, and goals. This includes load progression, conditioning focus, repeatability demands, and the relationship between effort, recovery, and the athlete’s current state.
Support is tailored to the individual’s performance needs and context, while remaining non‑clinical and grounded in exercise physiology.
Nutrition During Injury
Guidance on fuelling and energy balance during periods of lower activity, injury, or recovery. The focus is on maintaining stability, supporting healing, and avoiding unnecessary weight fluctuations. This is non‑clinical and does not replace medical or rehabilitation advice.
Healthy Lifestyle Guidance
Support for building steady, sustainable habits that improve general capability and long‑term wellbeing. This includes personalised guidance on movement patterns, nutrition basics, daily structure, and practical routines that align with an individual’s goals, training demands, and current capacity.
The work is non‑clinical and grounded in exercise physiology and behaviour principles, with a clear focus on supporting performance, stability, and everyday function.
Impairment Informed Educational Support
Educational guidance for individuals navigating impairments, mobility limitations, or recent changes in physical capacity. The focus is on understanding movement structure, accessible training approaches, and realistic planning within personal limits. This is not clinical assessment or treatment.
